Question:

I would like to send my seven year old daughter for horse riding lessons. Is this permissible? Please advise.

Answer:

Horse riding as is in vogue in most western countries is a culture of its own. The dress code, ethics and other aspects associated with it, is not only immoral, rather it distances a person from Muslims and Islam altogether. Hence we discourage women of all ages from horse riding.
