Four Steps to Rectify a Wrong

When you see a wrong:

Step One: Do not lose our temper. The moment we lose our temper, we cannot think correctly and cannot say the right things. Thus we should learn to control our temper.

Step Two: Be careful of our language. Do not say such words that will hurt the person. Often in anger we speak out our mind but later on we regret over our words.

Step Three: Explain to the person the wrong that he/she has done. Generally we become angry but we do not explain the mistake to the person.

Step Four: Give the person a solution, provide an alternative. Explain to the person what should be done and how it should be done in future.

After adopting these four simple steps in rectifying a wrong, Insha-Allah with the command of Allah Ta’ala, only good will come out of it. At all times our gaze and trust should be on the mercy of Allah Ta’ala.

For instance Allah Ta’ala grants some couples only girls while others have only boys. Both couples are unhappy and tend to complain. This is due to our nature of desiring that which we do not have instead of appreciating that which we have. Yet Allah Ta’ala’s decision for us is filled with wisdom.

Expenses during Haj

Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said:  “The expenses incurred during haj is like that incurred in jihad, rewarded seven hundred times.” (Musnad Ahmad #23000)

It is not possible for the material world to offer us an opportunity where we can invest our money and secure for ourselves a return which is seven hundred times over. Here on the occasion of haj we are rewarded seven hundred times for the money we spend during haj with rewards that are stored for us in the eternal vaults of the hereafter, where there is no fear of any deficiency, loss, or theft.
